If you follow @linuxdaw , you will:

This is crazy!

I was really hoping I could find a solution to connect my Firewire audio interfaces with my Lenovo, but there seems to be no hope finding a suitable solution for getting the firewire signal into the laptop.
I have from wire to Thunderbolt 2 then Thunderbolt 3 to USB-C, but the Apple Thunderbolt adapters doesn't translate Firewire signals in a way the Linux Kernel can see it.
(I have used this setup on an old mac).
Anyone out there with the golden solution I didn't find?
@etherdiver nice!
Personally I have all the drums and synths samples I could ever wish. So I mostly like sample packs that takes me somewhere new. Experimental tonal material, samples with a narrative (recorded here, tells this story) or with some kind of challenge.
Looking forward to see what you find out!
@etherdiver are you asking because you are considering using samples or considering releasing sample packs?
