@alexhaist Thank you! Lately I've been reading a lot of personal/literary essays, sci-fi and fiction (usually with a philosophical/political/historical bend, but admittedly the Throne of Glass series got me back into reading haha). The book I can't get off my mind right now is Playground by Richard Powers. How about you? Any recs?

@PermaSolarPotter Aah hello fellow violinist! I played from grades 5 through 9 but regrettably quit to try other hobbies. I picked it back up last year, nearly a decade later. It's amazing how much muscle memory sticks around, and I'm having a lot of jamming with friends and learning celtic reels. Maybe I will share something eventually! You should too

@Ladybug love this into - nice to meet you. I'm a former orchestral musician (French Horn) turned software engineer, in San Francisco... now is always the time to explore something more fulfilling, and hopefully good for society as well!
@axlerosenfeld Nice to meet you, too! I've always admired (envied, really) the willpower it takes to become a proper orchestral musician. I never could stick to a practice routine. Maybe in the next life! I bet that capacity for focus serves you well as a software engineer. Would love to hear what that career pivot was like!

@Ladybug good luck in your new endeavor. My husband and I did that a long, long time ago, and while it was terrifying, it also was the best decision for us. We’ve been lucky that we’ve been able to survive as writers since then. Of course, the markets have changed since then, so it’s going to be harder for you, but be bold!!! #forkiverse #introduction #writing
