Hi hello, I'm Bridget from Los Angeles! At 27, I'm taking my first steps on Mastodon.

I recently quit my desk job to reimagine my life outside of corporate America. As such, I've got spare time to reimagine the internet alongside you fine #forkiverse folk. No spare money though. Womp.

I'm a writer (or will be once the burnout subsides), interested in the brain, identity, culture and empathy.

Welcome, I'm sure a lot of people have already mentioned following hashtags as well as people to populate your home feed

Another option is to follow groups, the big difference between following a hashtag and following a group is that if you follow a hashtag you get any post with that tag that already made it to your instance but if you follow a group then any post tagging that group gets sent to your instance
