    @Cedara

    agreed

    and i think this isn't over, the drama will continue to play out

    because it garnered a lot of attention

    and because it seems pretty cut and dry rather than uncertain that this canadian curler offended against sweden

      @Cedara

      apparently, and don't listen to me too seriously because i'm just reading comments and i don't understand the game or the rules, but typically judges defer to the players to work things out themselves. apparently this sort of collegial relaxed and friendly attitude is *usually* a big part of the culture and the game of curling

      didn't seem so here!

            The wiki entry for curling explains a lot of things, quite helpful to learn the basic rules.

                            I'm siding with #Sweden here

                            I'm no #curling expert but the crux of the matter seems to be you can't touch the curling stone after you release the handle, because you can nudge it in an unfair way. And the Canadian curler did touch it after releasing it

                                      To be honest, when I read your post, I felt... Oh no! 😬 I'm sure I'll be asked a few questions about it at work on Monday. 😂

                                        @benroyce lol

                                        Heck, I'm just a layperson.

                                        They have to figure it out and if in result, the rules get more detailed, that's fine.
