Does #39c3 talks on youtube have a subtitle team? I am geniuenly curious, as a non german speaker, relying on auto translate doesn't feel right as it has been proven in the past that it tends to misstranslate gender for example from german
I get it is a big effort, but even just german subtitles that aren't auto translated can be SO useful for accessibility reasons -

I get it is a big effort, but even just german subtitles that aren't auto translated can be SO useful for accessibility reasons@mander The CCC does not actively use youtube. It's just that all talks that are uploaded to the primary platform (media.ccc.de) also get automatically mirrored to youtube, to preempt other people from doing that badly.
The subtitle team has its home at https://c3subtitles.de/ (which apparently doesn't yet know about #39c3).
