There's now a Fediverse alternative to TikTok called Loops. It's currently in beta testing so it is rough round the edges, but you can sign up and try it for yourself. More info at:

The good thing about the Fediverse is you don't have to use platforms but you can still follow and interact with people who do use those platforms
So, people who like Mastodon can use Mastodon, people who like Loops can use Loops, and they can all follow each other despite being on different platforms.

I have zero interest in short form videos.Yup, that's the idea of the Fediverse, everyone uses the platform that suits them best but they can still follow and interact with each other even if they're on different platforms.

You only need a Loops account if'n you want to make videos, any account will work to watch them
Also you can follow and interact with Loops accounts from Mastodon etc, you don't need to be on Loops if you don't want to.
