That seems right. As a kid in the 1970s, there was a lot of yellow/orange furniture in the house. You never see a bright orange kitchen these days..

At least in Germany the palette in the 70s was much more colourful.

I sometimes forget how wild the '90s colour schemes were.

So many ADV bikes were in shades of grey/black, with a few having white as an alternative, when I was looking a few years ago.

Fortunately Moto Guzzi still had a colour palate.

They want something that is easy to rent and paint over.

Grey walls, grey floors etc were all the cheapest options.

Not exactly though. Because ice also wears the uniforms of FBI, border control, and about 10 other federal organizations. Sometimes they wear yellow. Sometimes they're out of uniform and just wear all black. They do wear a lot of cargo pants. They love cargo pants.
