@benpate I agree with you, I think major buy-in by users will be limited until creators can make content that they can sell on the Fediverse.I wish I had more ActivityPub dev experience I would help with these projects but I'm not sure what a good starting project would be to try.

@T_X thank you for sharing this excellent example. Diversity has so many shades. Your scenario presents it so well.I totally understand that interrupting others may feel uncomfortable. This is why facilitation methods, preparation before the meeting/workshop and certain rules, which were communicated beforehand to everyone may be very helpful. Even something as simple as a time-timer could work well. It’s not you interrupting others, but a time-timer when the time it up.

I can't say enough good things about #FOSDEM. It was my first time visiting #Brussels and I was so impressed by the city and its peopleI learned so much from many amazing speakers, and came home with a huge to-do list. They even gave me the microphone for a bit I'll link to the video as soon as it's availableMY BIG TAKEAWAYThe world feels dark - esp. in the right now. But FOSDEM filled me with light, and hope for the #Fediverse and our future. There's a new energy here. Let's get to it.

@adalanerd I guess burocracy is a bitch. There's a reason the can only allow so many stands and devrooms. Maybe next year he can propose to populate a stand. Last thing we want is ULB to stop allowing FOSDEM at their places because of an infringement.

We have to organize strategically to change that!"

Alle geposteten Standard Links verweisen auf das gleiche Dokument von Evan.Es geht im Kern darum, die Daten so zu gestalten, das Instanzen im Monat 100 statt 5000 Euro ausgeben.Umgekehrt gesagt, aus 1 TB werden sonst 50TB, so was geht bei vielen Nutzenden schnell …Deshalb wäre es erst mal gut, wenn sich alle an dieses 1 Dokument halten …@mschfr
