Ich schreibe natürlich meist einen #Alttext – ausser aus einer Demo oder ähnlich hektischen Situation heraus – aber dass hier Einige meinen, sich zu Alttext-Wächtern aufspielen zu müssen und in Threads einbrechen, geht mir echt auf die Eier! Lernt erst mal selber Höflichkeit & Respekt!

@nerdherz Es ist ja nicht so, dass man hier länger unterwegs sein kann, ohne schon davon gehört zu haben. Da ist fehlender ALT auch ein sicheres Indiz für Ignoranz - zumindest bei älteren Accounts. Und für die gibt es hier die schöne Tradition: Kein ALT-Text? Kein Boost.

I'd accept "a tree", if this is all someone needs to understand in the context of the toot.But yesterday I read an "alttext" from a mutual, probably AI generated, describing a scene exhaustively while missing the point of just naming the people shown (it said something like "several well-known persons" without naming them).Use AI if you need to. But please, please read the fcking result and don't just copypaste. #alttext
