@grumble209 @smallsees Just from skimming the intro (through snark colored glasses), I think the word they were actually looking for was Panopticon.
@ArchiteuthisFlux @smallsees HR is a mixed bag; some great folks, some not so much.
I've had fewer WTF? moments dealing with corporations as a contractor than as an employee. I've found the people in Accounts Payable much easier to deal with than HR.

It looks more like a sailboat tacking, and failing to pay attention to the massive lighthouse in their direction of travel
