Kitten shenanigans

I sat on the couch with little tabby this afternoon, she immediately climbed in my lap as she does, and I gave her lots of tummy rubs. Supervisor came in, got up on the couch beside me, giving us greasy looks. I reached out to pat her and she attacked my arm, the jealous thing

She did sniff my lad rather casually then walk off, so she seems to tolerate him more than her. Hopefully she realises neither want to fight her, and they're both getting bigger than her.

The kittens have the mad zoomies this morning. I blame the strong wind going on outside for it. Supervisor is startled by the weird noises my lad makes as he sprints on by.

The face of a kitten getting his tummy rubbed

Late last night this lad's goofing around at the base of the cat post. So I leaned forward in my office chair to lean over and chat with him about it all. And he decides to leap up and land on my chair seat behind me. Now both he and his sister loves the office chairs and get in them all the time, I think he just got all excited and didn't think about me being there. He didn't stay long but it was an interesting development. One day he might voluntarily come get in my lap, I hope.

Guess who found the basket of nice, clean and warm washing.

Middle management were working hard today

Aliexpress comes through again and everyone's entertained.

Hard at work.

We've had solar panel installers in today from early, clomping around on the roof installing tracking for the panels to be mounted to. The babies, having only partially eaten brekky at that time, went straight into survival mode and spent the day silently hiding out in the washing machine box. They only came out about half hour after the techs left, and things got quiet. I tried to talk them out during the day but they were having none of it. Their survival instincts are definitely very strong.

Look who's feeling less stressed now

Everyone's had some brekky, the solar techs are due back soon so I await the kittens disappearing into the washing machine box and not moving for several hours again. Hopefully the install's all finished today. They everything can go back to normal.

#Boxlife

Solar panels are installed, kittens eventually clambered out of the box. Supervisor stole their dinner so I let the kittens eat hers. Seemed only fair.

Someone's feeling happy again, now all the noise has stopped and the strangers have gone.

I went to sit on the couch next to Supervisor who was lying on the throw on the couch. She was leaning against a lump, and soon enough the lump moved. It was my little boy, tunnelling into some snug warmth! First time I've seen him do that.
