@nomenloony I would really not advise anyone to do anything with household current wiring based off a quick internet search, even if you find a reputable human.
I've fixed up plenty of things myself, but electricity can kill you and that's one to leave to pros.

I feel sorry for people looking stuff up, now, with how many sites are just generated slop.

I rewired my bedroom as a teen with info found on Usenet. Accurate info from a real person with the knowledge I needed instead of a LLM running a predictive algorithm on what a real answer might be.
