    ICE whistleblower Ryan Schwank:

"For the last 5 months, I watched ICE dismantle the training program, cutting 240 hours of vital classes from a 584 hour program, classes that teach the Constitution, our legal system, firearms training, the use of force, lawful arrests, proper detention and the limits of officers’ authority.

ICE is teaching cadets to violate the Constitution, and they were attempting to cloak it in secrecy by demanding that I lie about it.”

@AkaSci and yet, lack of training isn’t the biggest issue.

    Hiring fascists is.

Sen. Blumenthal is not mincing his words - "ICE agents are being deliberately & purposely trained to break the law & violate Americans’ 4th Amendment rights."

Not really breathtaking to anyone paying attention.

Opinion by Will Bunch on the inhumanity of ICE and its planned detention camps.

"An internal Homeland Security document shows how ICE plans to cram thousands of detained human beings inside a Georgia warehouse.

This banal blueprint for inhumanity is the embodiment of the notorious words last April from ICE’s acting director, Todd Lyons, who said the Trump regime wants to make deportation “like [Amazon] Prime, but with human beings.”

"Acting Director of ICE Todd Lyons appears to have lied under oath.

ICE Whistleblower Ryan Schwank just came forward, saying that the infamous ICE memo that another whistleblower leaked, and that directed ICE agents to unlawfully enter people’s homes, was never officially disseminated to agents. Instead it was kept hidden an only shown to agents to get them to perform illegal actions and to convince them that their illegal actions were OK."

@AkaSci There's a convincing and timely argument for them to choke on while trying to get their budget ok'd.

@AkaSci Held to clear standards? It'll be fun to see the documentation of that claim in discovery for the class action suit alleging violation of constitutional rights.

@AkaSci Do these have their own power substations or transformers?

On a completely unrelated note, wouldn’t it be cool to have quad-copters that drop thermite?

@AkaSci Well, it appears there is one legitimate use of those detention centers ICE/whatnot is building: to "house" federal agents at taxpayer's expense after they are convicted.

This is the preparation of Insurrection 2.0

The U.S. is allowing for the creation of armed militias on the citizen's dime.

The amount of premeditation and the lawlessness are shocking and appalling.

This needs to have consequences. Prosecute this government for blatant racism, violence, murder and violating the Constitution.

@AkaSci There was no way that Jan6 insurrectionists could join ICE otherwise. Agents were not supposed to obey the law. They were to obey directives from the White House (i.e. Miller), passed through Homan and Noem, and their Field supervisors. #HomeGrownHorror.

is it fair to say these fascilities will be ideal as Epstein detention centres? Or is it too early to say?

This is the preparation of Insurrection 2.0

The U.S. is allowing for the creation of armed militias on the citizen's dime.

The amount of premeditation and the lawlessness are shocking and appalling.

Is anyone tracking the legalities of how the money from the tariffs can be put to use?

The U.S. can learn from Europe that the Orban system describes how democracies can be used to finance anti-democratic movements.

Orban was educated at elite Sovjet institutions on the interface between democracy and law; that's his 'network'.

The madness of what can be seen in the U.S. is likely the emerging of a parasitic fascist state within a state, financed by the host.

Money from tarrifs paid by American companies, goes to the U.S. Department of Treasury making to the general affairs budget. Thats the theory. This also was a practice in the past era of government institutions acting lawfully. Now nothing prevents that money going to Quatari bank account of Trump family.
