When did you stop posting on X?

To be frank I thought I knew enough about Musk to not even wait but your description is exactly that which I feared would come to pass, and it's so much worse than I dreaded.
When Zuckerburg went along same lines I stopped Instagram too; which I really loved for the cooks and crafters which I copied and mostly failed to copy.
It's petty but I will never forgive those two men for ruining those two places for me.

Yeah. I remembered trying to explain how the policy was singling trans people out. Specifically making it so that trans people would be an exception to basic expectations in moderation decisions ... but most people just thought it was "being a little less woke" in some general way.
Not thrilled to have been right. I'm disappointed at how many big companies, governments, and famous people I want to otherwise respect still go there.

@andrewstroehlein Stopped posting quite a while back but yesterday, I deleted the app. I had kept it because of morbid curiosity but I feel cleansed now that I deleted my account and the app. I prefer it here.

Yes. Agree completely. I am stunned by supposedly sensible "right-on" people who still use Twitter Facebook etc.

When people or group want to reach a broad audience and are not merely doing it for personal gratification, they rarely stop posting.

@andrewstroehlein When Musk purchased it. No need to see how it would turn out, we all knew who he was already. All govts should be off of there, being there is a moral stain. All govts should ban it, prosecute it, and seize its assets

@andrewstroehlein when musk took over, I grew up in S.A. and know the type. Sadly I was very right in my suppositions. I left the country in 1981 to escape Apartheid...

I left twitter as musk was stepping into his new role as king of his *X* kingdom; there was a sudden CREEPY feeling there & I knew it was time to exit.
