Like, for example, a novel ceramic knife could contain a warning to not use it to pry open a can. Because while a metal utility knife may be fine for the purpose, a ceramic blade is likely to break or shatter.

But you wouldn't include an endless litany of things you shouldn't be using utility knives for at all. Like "don't use for plastic surgery, weather forecasting, or writing on blackboards."

Should documentation of a product or service cover what you *can't* do with it, beyond warning about things that, when attempted, would potentially be harmful to the product or to people?
