That was some good #birding! The chickadees were particularly chill today, such amazing little birds
It was definitely worth having cold hands

That was some good #birding! That was some good #birding! We finally, FINALLY, saw a red-breasted nuthatch

not even common in Ottawa right now, but there were multiple of them! I was feeding chickadees and a white-breasted nuthatch landed on my hand 🥹 first time that has even happened!
(Note: I would never hand feed birds that are not already fully acclimated to humans)
We also saw hairy woodpeckers, and a mourning dove!

Trump is now implying that Canada is dependent on the USA acquiring Greenland in order for it to gain “protection” under the “golden dome”. -
I've been a bit of a broken record on this... but the fact that Greenland's only North American neighbour, Canada, is not participating in this is concerning.@AlexanderVI @chris he's still on the appeasement bandwagon
-
I'm fucking proud of my little bro in Minneapolis.@artemis thanks for sharing all of this! It shows that people can do *something*. And he's putting himself in potential danger to protect other people. He should be proud.
Tell him random people on the Internet are proud of him!

"Today, appeasement is usually regarded as a failure"
