@Starcross I have been using Kubuntu for many years, now, so obviously, I am kind of biased.It is rather focussed on stability and usability than on being bleeding edge. Things just work. But: Sometimes, it takes a few weeks, before the very latest features become available. Ubuntu as base is not as bad as they say.
