1. If you have nothing to hide, can I have access to all your e-mail and IM communication? We can set it up such that I only have strictly read-only access. That cool, right?

2. Privacy isn't just about what we share with whom now, but who gets access to this in 5-10-15 years and how the context changes. You don't know you might have something to hide because you don't know who will be looking at this data in the future, and what that data might *mean* then.

Dear #SysAdmin fedi – I am sure this exists, but I cannot find a tool like that.

I need a CLI tool that would canonicalize a DNS zone file. As in: put all the entries in a well-defined order, replace whitespace with a predefined pattern, organize the SOA section in a reproducible manner.

My basic need is being able to tell two zone files are 100% functionally equivalent, even if one uses tabs, the other spaces, and if entries are in completely random order, etc.

It is absolutely *wild* to me that media organizations still do not put RSS/Atom feed info front-and-center on their websites.

One needs to dive into HTML code or use external tools to discover their feeds.

It is wild because this is one of the easiest, least-effort ways to reach their audience. Encouraging RSS/Atom use is a phenomenal way of becoming less reliant on gatekeepers like huge social media platforms.
