This thread is about longevity of EVs. The sales in Norway however, are so cheap (compared to conventional vehicles) that longevity is not a factor. At that price difference, EV would sell even if they were guaranteed (!) to go up in flames after ten years.I never said that they will do that, or that anyone had guaranteed that.

In that environment, I'd happily buy a car that is guaranteed to go up in flames after a decade. That doesn't translate to other parts of the North.

We recently had about 3 weeks around -40, usually get about 2 weeks a year below -30 C and months of -20 C. In this climate, must people don't have a garage, and those who do generally don't heat them. Any insight?
