@cryptgoat What kind of anti-cheat stuff are you planning to set up? I tried some public servers and “ACE” kicks me off the server when using the Linux version, saying “Windows or Wine required”. 🫤

@cryptgoat The OldUnreal version of UT99 runs fine here as well. (Didn’t know it would download the whole thing. I got my CDs ready! )

@PurpleJillybeans @cryptgoat That would be cool. I do have the original Epic version 436 running on my XP box (and in Wine, I think). That would be extra oldschool.

@cryptgoat Let us know when/if you have a server running for some quick compatibility tests. ️

@cryptgoat I might give it a shot. Assuming I can get it to work on Linux. UT99, that is, I was never really into UT2k4.

(The original Linux version by Loki stopped working for me a few years ago. Guess I’ll have to see if those OldUnreal versions are any good.)
