This is why when people make a big fuss over the amazing work being done in MN, I often make a point to give credit to everyone across the country doing the work. I heard that in Charlotte they pretty much defeated the feds in short order. I’ve seen and heard wonderful, selfless stories from all over (Chicago has a special place in my heart). It’s not a competition, it’s community. Groups are learning from each other and adding their own special sauce.

Nothing to see here, just Angelenos shutting down the entire 101 Freeway through #LosAngeles. -
Huh. So Ronald Lauder, the billionaire who owns Estee Lauder, is apparently the guy who convinced Trump that he should destroy NATO by invading Greenland.Gross. But not surprising. Most of what I’m seeing is blandly approving. Which is why Krugman’s piece is so important. (Yes, it’s Substack, sorry).

The Dutch version of the BBC (very simply put) has started consistently stating in every article about Trump that he has a history of lying and saying nonsense. It seems so obvious, and it’s infuriating that here in the US they don’t do that.
