@Kevin R Jones The whole idea of QR codes doesn't make sense, when the actual site link they are pointing to isn't available as a text link below. Btw, that same problem exists for people with eyesight:; we can't see, where the QR code points to. Any human analysis about spam risk is impossible without mentioning the actual link in text. @Prof. Sam Lawler

Eine deutschsprachige Kunstplattform ist mir hier nicht bekannt. Die hängen wohl alle auf Insta rum.
Generell hatte ich selbst viel mehr davon, explizit nach Themen und Protagonisten zu suchen, anstatt die Streams danach abzuklappern. Das macht anfänglich etwas mehr Arbeit, lohnt sich aber sehr auf die lange Sicht.

@Torsten Torsten Auch hier rangiert's zwischen umsonst+drinks+Transport+ggf. Hotel (weil underground Freundeaktion) oder eben auch mal 1500 pro Musikant, plus den Rest. In Staatstheatern üblicherweise 400€ pro Musikant plus den Rest.

Lustigerweise ist es manchmal schwieriger, bei sehr gut bezahlten Konzerten eine Flasche Wasser umsonst zu bekommen. Generell empfiehlt sich natürlich: Platten mitnehmen, und Leute kaufen auch lustigerweise direkt am Merchtisch per Paypal reine Digitalveröffentlichungen, oder einen Download Code gegen Bargeld. Je schöner es aussieht, umso besser.

@Fedi.Tips #Fedigroups isn't a replacement system for gup.pe, it has been around before already and they use their own software. Apart from that many groups are run on a variety of Friendica and Hubzilla servers.

@Wilson Yeah, most Peertube instance i find are either catch all or not especially affine to human made (not by electronic means in the first place) arts & music somehow. It would be lovely to see an instance for exactly that, which is not computer-based.

Using a loopback test (DA to AD recording trusted/high end mastered reference audio) on a Focusrite Scarlett 18i16 doesn't reveal much glory. In direct comparison to a Lavry Blue DA and a Macbook Pro 2024 output we hear a narrow stage, resolution losses, a general unopen and intransparent sound with unnecessary emphasis on bass and presence bands. Little orientation and transparency all over the mids. Control software lacks central features (channel separation, phase reverse, routing flexibility).
Sadly such equipment will misguide your ears into making severe mixing mistakes. Mastering is simply impossible.
My tip: Do NOT use. Cheap and good? Doesn't work again, I'll get my money back.
Will return to a used RME for a while, at least ensuring an OK-neutral decision base for audio work.
