My physical therapist recommended I get a cane to help with walking. She'll train me on proper use, but I'd love suggestions from anyone who uses a cane - what should I look for when choosing one?

My nephew's wife, Abby, learned to knit off the internet during the pandemic. She made these for my mother-in-law (her grandmother-in-law) this year for Christmas, and I am absolutely blown away by the level of detail.
