@iamkonstantin It's a good move by the client, even if you are a big fan of the US there's no reason, eg, other countries should have their government store everything on US clouds.
But it's quite difficult if you look into this. For example, kernel.org is run by Akamai now https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/akamai-delivers-infrastructure-support-to-ensure-uninterrupted-linux-kernel-development-302412685.html and AFAICT Akamai is a US company.
If you tug on things like OpenSSL it seems they are based in Delaware. And a FOSS userland stack is a big mismash of all kinds of things from different places.
