Same. This is one of the major features of Mastodon for me.

It means I can collapse my feed in a way I mostly control so things I probably want to avoid permanently ( e.g US politics ) and stuff I just want to be able to control how much I see by default ( TV/movie spoilers , Sports results) show up just with my custom label that I need to click to expand before I see what’s behind it.

It’s not perfect but it absolutely improves the experience.

The auroral display is still going strong.

Disturbance levels are now triple what they were when I initially got the alert. Aurora is now solid green here by eye but the red still comes out in the photos.

Definitely a bit of red in there now that the clouds have cleared.

I’m on the south coast of Ireland in the countryside but it’s still a fairly light polluted spot so anyone further north or anywhere properly dark should be able to see this.

Disturbance level still rising. But I have too much cloud here. I suspect there is a hint of red behind some of those clouds but it is a stretch.

Definitely worth looking out and pointing a phone camera north just to check.
