Fairphone doesn't provide Linux kernel updates, only a couple backports provided by Android. Both the Fairphone 4 and Fairphone 5 use an end-of-life kernel branch already. Unlike Pixels, they aren't moving to newer kernel branches. You won't get proper updates for a Fairphone for 1 year let alone for 7.
