@mgerique
If you found that larva in Spain:
1. Xylocopa violacea (Abeja azul de la madera)
This is the most common species in the country.
2. Xylocopa valga
Very similar to X. violacea and often found in the same habitats. It is slightly more common in certain inland regions but looks nearly identical to the untrained eye.
3. Xylocopa pubescens
This is a newer arrival to Spain, having expanded its range from North Africa. It is now established in the south of Spain and the Canary Islands.

Gemini AI says:
Based on the large, plump, and creamy-white appearance of the larva, this is almost certainly the larva of a Carpenter Bee (likely the genus Xylocopa).
I thought I was a late Boomer but according to Harvard Business School (2017):
- Traditionalists, born prior to 1946
- Baby Boomers, born between 1946 and 1964
- Gen X, born between 1965 and 1976
- Millennials, born between 1977 and 1997
- Gen 2020, born after 1997
