There was a teen kid on the metro today reading "facts" to his dad from his phone, and it was so great to see that at every turn the dad was challenging him to think more critically about it.

Teen: *something dubious about fluoride and cavities*
Dad: Is that an AI summary or an actual source?
T: AI summary...
Well it might just be anti-vaxxers saying that. Find a reliable authority.
T: Ok, here's a national agriculture association! That sounds like an authority!

I usually hate when people's phones make any sound whatsoever, but someone's phone rang on the bus this morning, and the ringtone was an increasingly loud and insistent cat meowing. This is the only acceptable ringtone.
