I was enjoying a perfectly pleasant conversation with Daphne (who has a very good grasp of humanese) and I made the mistake of saying that the topic we were discussing was quite the curiosity. That dreaded c-word that is rumored to be harmful to cats. Man, the look of disapproval she gave me, I felt it in my soul.
