@mcdope Dürfte für AGA wohl auch ungleich schwieriger sein, weil der Lisa-Chip weder DIP noch gesockelt ist. Und per PLCC-Sockel kopfüber drauf ist vermutlich nicht ausreichend für die nötige Funktion.

Aber da wird's sicher auch eine Lösung geben.

Oh, schön. Mein #Framethrower für die #PiStorm ist heute gekommen. Hatte komplett verpennt, dass es das Teil schon seit Monaten gibt.

@cdonat @stefanhoeltgen Sorry, but that is wrong. You may confuse this with SS vs. DS. DD and HD disks use (and require!) different magnetic media. They are not interchangeable. If you do anyway by such a "hack", data is not stored reliably, as HD media need a higher write current (due to smaller particles) than a DD drive can support. And DD media would corrupt adjacent tracks when wrongly used as HD due to the higher write current. It just doesn't work.

I'm about to finish a project I'm working on since 1998! This #Amiga 600 was given to me back then and it was in fact one of the first ever computers that would later form my retro collection. Ever since 1998, I worked on it, upgraded it, repaired it a couple of times... but the journey has come to an end. There's nothing else to do. It's the way I want it to be now. Today I made sure it's (still) fully working before closing the case for good.

I'll give a deeper introduction to it in a few days. I may even do a video about it, because it's an awesome machine using hardware you can't get anymore.
