@GeePawHill I believe the impressive places in (eastern) Canada for snow and snow removal are Montreal and (maybe?) Quebec City. Those places have it down to a large scale science because they have no choice, they get so much of it.

(I've seen Montreal videos of snow clearance and they are very well organized. You can tell they get a lot of snow because they don't plow it out of the road, they hoover it up into trucks and cart it away.)

@GeePawHill It would be nice if 20 cm of snow here in Toronto was "it is to laugh", but sadly not (or not any more). 20 cm is still a lot for us to get in a day and while it might not shut down everything, things will definitely not be normal.

(Environment Canada is forecasting anywhere from 22 cm to 39 cm by Monday morning. If it's on the high side Toronto will probably be mostly shut down for at least Monday.)
