EU-dwellers: do you work for public sector and are required by your employer only to use certain Big-Tech software (eg, MS Office but LibreOffice is forbidden; Edge/ Chrome but Vivaldi & Firefox are forbidden)?

@brucelawson In the UK, about 15 years ago (so not what you asked), I was told it was down to what our outsourced IT Support company was willing to support. This happened a lot, with schools being forced to buy iPads over much more appropriate android tablets. So much money wasted.
