I can’t remember where I saw it, but I feel like today is a good time to revisit the concept of “Vegan + bacon”.It's a terrible shame that synthetic meat seems to have fizzled out. It would've solved a lot of problems.

I don’t understand how to gain traction hereAs to how to find conversations, there are two ways:
1. The Trending feed. This will show you posts that are being reposted a lot, and hashtags that are being used a lot.
2. Live Feeds. This will show you everything being posted on your server (mastodon.social), other servers, or all servers.
Trending is pretty obvious, but don't underestimate Live Feeds. It's basically a firehose of random content. You might stumble upon something new and interesting there.

I don’t understand how to gain traction here…Nope. I looked it up, and NCLEX is only a thing in Australia, Canada, and the US. And we've ruled out Australia.
So yes, snow tires are probably a good idea right about now.

I don’t understand how to gain traction hereOh, also, follow people and reply to their posts. Their other followers will see your replies. If they find your replies interesting, sometimes they will follow you as well.

I don’t understand how to gain traction hereWith no algorithm, building up a following is a slow process.
But, since there isn't an algorithm throwing your content into a black hole, you can be assured that your followers will actually see your posts. You don't have to game the algorithm because there isn't one.

I don’t understand how to gain traction hereLook for interesting conversations. Talk to people. Follow them. Often, they'll follow you back.
Post things that people might find interesting. Use hashtags; people often follow hashtags they're interested in, and they'll see your post even if they're not following you.
Occasionally look at the trending hashtags. If you've got something to say about one of those topics, say it and use that hashtag. Trending hashtags probably have a lot of followers, so you'll have an audience.

#Language #Mathematics #English #Grammar .For that, you also need a sufficiently good theory of particle physics.

I heard last week that the physics teacher of the daughter of one of my colleagues told the daughter that girls who do their nails don’t do physics. When I read “photonics” my first thought was the snarky holographic doctor on Star Trek.
Lasers are fun too, though! -
I heard last week that the physics teacher of the daughter of one of my colleagues told the daughter that girls who do their nails don’t do physics.Problem: bombarding things with neutrons makes them radioactive.

I heard last week that the physics teacher of the daughter of one of my colleagues told the daughter that girls who do their nails don’t do physics.I'm no particle physicist, but I'm fairly sure you're supposed to keep your hands away from the beam.

Dear everyone.Note that, by default (at least in Mastodon 4.1), replies will be tagged with the same language as the post being replied to, *not* your default posting language!
So be sure to check the language when replying, even if you speak only one language.
