GPTZero reckoned that a #FAWM newbie's post in the site's forums arguing that AI was just a tool to support genuine human creativity was 100% AI generated.

Irony is dead.

@headfirstonly I first was very impressed how this person managed to agree with both a proponent as well as an opponent of AI within 5 minutes or so. But than this seemed suspuciously super -human (like a very trained NLP-Practitioner who was very much into how AI works could do this, rather not a young ambitious musician).
Now, this feels odd.

@torstentorsten The range of human endeavour / ability is so wide, I'm always wary of reacting to ANYTHING these days with "this is so slick, a human can't have come up with this." I know lots of creatives who have been accused of relying on generative AI when in fact they're just so bloody GOOD at what they do that they don't need it. I suspect that's going to happen more and more.

@torstentorsten But that forum post really took the biscuit. To the point of being dishonest, IMO.

@headfirstonly I'm still contemplating about what and how this (the dialogue in the forum) happened. And what it means and how this all will turn out for musicians.
My hope is that anything that has the smell of ai get's widely detested and will become worthless in culture. To the point where people when they want to listen to music, start leaving the couch and the house for a life venue where they can actually see and hear (and smell) musicians.
