@fireborn @MewProjects I've been using the iOS version almost exclusively for the last 1.5 months to use my two Windows 10 laptops at home. One of them has since gone offline for some reason. The other, less powerful one is working fine. That's how I'm typing this message.
I occasionally use the Mac version, but usually use iOS and a Bluetooth keyboard, as I am doing now.
@BorrisInABox @MewProjects Cool stuff. I just don't run any machines always on any more. Electric bills.

@fireborn @MewProjects Mine is covered in the rent, so it doesn't cost me any more or less to run stuff all the time.

Also, since I never actually posted about this here. Ever wanted to NVDA Remote into a computer on your iOS device? But whoops, forgot your keyboard? Or have a keyboard? Either way, NVDARC has got you covered! NVDA Remote Controller is a new app for iOS and Mac that allows you to control computers over the NVDA Remote protocol. It also offers an onscreen keyboard, as well as page swiping gestures and magic tap, for sending keys with the touch screen. Useful for when you have things you want to do on the computer and are away from it. Try out an early version here! https://testflight.apple.com/join/edg8YSeU
@fireborn @MewProjects FYI there is also an Android version.

@jonathan859 @MewProjects Oh, that one wasn't linked in the post. Even better.

@jonathan859 @MewProjects Will grab this when my phone isn't charging, then convince someone to let me try it.
-
@fireborn @MewProjects It sadly misses some useful features the IOS app has, in particular the 3 finger gesture swiping, which is damn useful, but ngl the Android app is still more than awesome.

@MewProjects Wow this is definitely good! I'm tempted to get me some basic bluetooth keyboard just for this use case.
The number of times I'm stuck in bed and I need to help someone with their nvda...

@MewProjects Easily my iOS app of the year. It made a huge difference, and I won't be able to stop recommending it once it reaches Appstore.

@fireborn @jonathan859 It wasn't linked because it's garbage.

@MewProjects @jonathan859 hm. I disagree. Used it twice since it was linked to solve a problem that would have had to wait a week or more otherwise. Perfect, nope. Garbage, far from it.

@fireborn @jonathan859 Interesting. I got a bunch of bug reports that it crashes/explodes in amazingly spectacular fassion, keyboard doesn't work for some people, not to mention it's impossible for me to add the scroll gesture stuff the iOS app has.

@MewProjects @jonathan859 It might yet do all of these things, but I was able to solve two client's problems and get one back to doing their job and the other back writing their college paper with minimal fuss.

@MewProjects @jonathan859 Just tested keyboard capture. Don't see the problem. Enable the accessibility service, hit f11 with an active connection, and you're off to the races

@MewProjects @jonathan859 Can even use my phone in a different app and the keyboard stays captured. and speech stays working.

@fireborn @jonathan859 Yep, that's how it's supposed to work, but I've heard reports of the keyboard capture just not doing anything after enabling the service.

@fireborn @jonathan859 well that's kinda nifty.

@MewProjects @jonathan859 some keyboards don't send f11 correctly.
