I still really, reeeeeally wish someone would fix the enafore crash whenever someone quotes posts. Or make a new fork of it to fix this bug. Getting very tired of switching back and forth between enafore and semaphore because someone quoted something that my client noped out on.

@Kaliah same here. If contributing was easy I'd already have tried...

@svenja Yeah. Unfortunately I'm not a coder, or i would've fixed this myself.

@Kaliah I am but nevertheless unable to fix it. Once a more experienced Dev wanted to contribute but was not able because there always was something the Repo refused to commit for whatever reason, so they gave up trying as far as I know.

@svenja That's unfortunate. I really, really like this client, but this one bug really really ruins it.

@Kaliah same here. There also someone filled an Issue about it some time ago so its not unknown at this point. the Enafore mastodon Account seems also to be abbandoned because I once contacted it but never got an Answer.

@svenja Yeah. Again, very unfortunate. It gets tiring going back and forth. I would just stick with semaphore but that doesn't have notification sounds and I do really want those in my client.

@Kaliah yeah, I still use semaphore but that is also likely to vanish some Day...

@svenja Like I said semaphore is great, and I'd stick with it and ditch enafore completely if Semaphore had sounds for notifications. It annoys me to not have that. Otherwise yes I agree with you.

@svenja I don't think any of the pinafore/semaphore/enafore family actually display quote posts properly

@Kaliah Enafore does with the standard ActivityPub Implementation, but Mastodon had to invent its own thing for Quoteposts, so it doesn't work there.

@svenja Really? I have never, ever seen enafore display quote posts properly.
