You can joke about Pam Bondi’s ridiculous unprofessionalism all you want, but I’m deeply shocked by it: She acts as if she fears absolutely no consequences, convinced that there will be no more political power transfers.

@Strandjunker She learned from the Master. Trump: "If you want to argue with me, you're arguing with the Master Debater."

@Strandjunker remember there are two parts to their #superpower. 1. Lying. 2. getting away with it. To stop them, you have to make lying and incompetence costly. It has to be too hard--erm, expensive--for them to just walk away. Remember, they see us, all of us, as prey--including our representatives. recommend applying consequences.
@Strandjunker I'm reminded of #trumpliesmatter swaying back and forth near a podium he was supposed to be speaking at during the campaign. He knew he was going to win. He knew there would be no consequences for his lack of competence and evil--only rewards.

I think she believes that it doesn't really matter if there is a political power transfer because it's all the same people.

@IAmDannyBoling @Strandjunker Power will change hands even if only through natural causes, Trump is not immortal. When that happens, European history of Kingdoms suggest a change of policy (if only cosmetic) and the previous advisers and officers are blamed for the bad advice which resulted in the previous bad policy. This usually resulted with an appointment with the headsman and Block
@aadeacon @IAmDannyBoling @Strandjunker If the heir to the throne cannot consolidate his power, there might be a war in between different MAGA factions, most likely the Techbros and the Christofascists. If the Religious Right manages to take control of some states and the Cyberlords take control of other states, it might even lead to a permanent division, two rival countries with a conflict zone in between in a drawn-out civil war. Who knows?
However, some states might be difficult to control either way for geographical or demographical reasons. And in some states, the fascists might not win at all in the end. I wouldn't be surprised if the formerly United States ended up divided. However, Capitalism won't last very much longer because the world has already exceeded the global ecological growth limits, the economy will cease to grow and begin to shrink one way or another. Most likely it will be either some kind of socialism or some kind of feudalism in the end, with the fash rooting for feudalism, of course, so that's what they will try to install in the regions under their control. In places that successfully resist, socialism becomes more likely as capitalism fails and collapses. -

That is alarming. No more transfers of political power in America would mean no more representative govt in America. Only Donald Trump and his errors/heirs.

It is possibly that New England could form compact country, the rest of the Us who knows?
