Hi everyone!

Hi!
I’m not directly working on deterministic chaos but it does occasionally appear in some of my models. Famous example would be chaos in a food chain… happy to connect! -

Btw, two of the dynamical systems that we recently studied in my group are linked below.https://nsojournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/oik.09462

Also, maybe @TeaKayB knows more people to follow? Just an idea! -

I'm not sure who fits the bill specifically, but I've shared it to my network! -

Might be worth browsing the mathstodon.xyz server to see if anyone's posting about the sorts of things you're looking for. -
I wouldn't quite have put it like that: I'm interested in similarity solutions of fluid mechanics that produce strongly non-linear ordinary differential equations on a semi-infinite domain, but I think there's substantial overlap.

@JeromeDqn i sat in on Guckenheimer's nonlinear ODE course at Cornell
incredible how many nonlinear ODEs have linear flows locally. matrix exponentials for the win
-
@JeromeDqn using that kind of thinking in our #MLsec work at BIML
