Carrying on from my original kitten post, which started a few posts back from here:

We've been out at a car show all morning. Got home to find Supervisor in a silly mood and stuff everywhere. Toys, paper, tunnels, it's all been tossed around the place. Kitten riots? Supervisor riots? Very suspicious, and no one is talking.

The babies are having a hard Monday

They all got fed. Supervisor went downstairs to beat up the rug and wait for my partner to come home. The kittens are now chasing each other around the place and crashing in and out of boxes. What on earth is in that kitten food.

Nail trimming time. Caught my lad first, he happened to be on the cat post so he got done. He still tries to turn to jelly and slide out of my grip but I've wrangled sneakier kitties than him. He does get over it pretty quickly though, with a good belly rub.

Then it was Supervisor's turn. She doesn't like it, hisses and tries to get away. And sulks afterwards.

Finally, I found my little tabby friend. She too tries to get away, but also gets over it quickly with belly rubs.

I fed them all before going to the pool this morning. Kittens inhaled their brekky as usual. Got home from swimming, Supervisor wanted some more of hers. She's a grazer, not a vacuum. Kittens must have been having fun rampaging whilst I was out, as they are both asleep in a box.

The struggle is real

I was giving my lad a belly rub on the cat post today. He was wriggling around as usual, he loves it so, and got so excited he fell off the post.

Look at this

Everyone's had snackies, Supervisor's been chasing the kittens a bit. Time for a chill out. She is getting better with them, and he's not scared of her now. He even bopped her on the head whilst she was eating her brekky earlier today. Tabby still doesn't trust her and gives her a wide berth but will whack back if Supervisor raises a paw.

Got home from the pool, kittens wanted some milk so they got that. Supervisor got shooed away from it as it upsets her tummy. So she retaliated by chasing them but they are lighter and faster than her so they think it's a great fun game. Now they have the mad gallops going on.

I like to think she's wearing a little white cravat.

You give them so many options for soft places to sleep and he snoozes on cardboard.

Earlier today. My lap is enticing.

Supervisor had some dinner, then an attack of the mads. Sprinted from one end of the place to the other, hurdling boxes. Turned and did it again. Kittens stared in amazement. God knows what was in that sachet of tuna.

The babies plot their next game as Supervisor snoozes in her nest.

My lad got into the box Supervisor likes to nest in. Supervisor walked over, they sniffed at each other. Then a paw was flailed drunkenly by both parties and Supervisor walked off.

You guys have a whole couch. Must you fluff all over my chair every day?

My little tabby friend asked me very nicely for snackies, so everyone got some. Supervisor's been weirdly aggressive with her over the past few days, chasing her and hitting her around the bum. God knows why, jealousy? Tabby's whacked her back a few times, I don't think she wants to be friends with her now. My lad just treats Supervisor as a joke, I think he knows he's stronger and faster than her.

Dinner time, tabby reappeared from her hiding spot about an hour ago. Lad was still in the washing machine box. Supervisor casually saunters along, she's not scared of visitors that clambered on the roof earlier.

I put down the bowls and call them, lad squeezes out of the box like black toothpaste and goes to hide under my desk. He often has a stern look on his face and yet he's such a quiet, gentle, sweet boy. Even when he tries to playfight with me it's done cautiously.
