Carrying on from my original kitten post, which started a few posts back from here:

The babies spent the day lounging around on my stripped bed. A coverless doona is very alluring, it seems, for nesting in. Supervisor went straight for the couch and sunshine to recharge. I did get a good laptime session in with my little tabby girl, who needs to have her belly rubbed when in my lap. My little boy was up for a belly rub whilst on my bed. I so want to weigh him, got some luggage scales and now to try get him in a bag so I can test them out. If he'll let me.

Look who's napping on my bed again

Supervisor, by the way, is all back to normal. Squeaking again, eating normally, all fine. Goodness knows what it was. She's been chasing the kittens around again, not sure if it's play or what. She charges around in a silly manner and whacks them on the bum. I am hoping she's figuring out how to play with them.

Sleepy times

The sun came out, time for recharging.

Existential moment?

I went outside earlier this evening only to spot a not fully grown dark kitten coming along the footpath and trot off up the road. Getting dive bombed by some birds. A sibling? We will never know....was definitely not an adult cat.

Today supervisor picked up a toy and was skittering around with it in her mouth, whilst yodelling. She dropped it on a rug and looked at me, on the couch with the kittens. Then skittered off to the cat post and goofed around there before yodelling some more and running off down stairs. No one followed her, we were too surprised. She came back up and sat on the mat by the stairs, waiting but no one came to play. Was a good effort though. We're all still learning.

Then this evening the lad was mucking around on the palaces and then jumped down, landing right beside her. And she didn't flinch, didn't try to hit him, just lay there looking at him. Definite improvement.

Management were very busy today

I'm eating my brekky in the kitchen. Supervisor gets the sillies up and starts playing with some toys. Kittens are nearby, watching. Supervisor then decides to do the mad silly run from one end of the place to the other, and dashes off. Kittens in hot pursuit. No quarrelling, just having fun goofing. Is it play? Maybe?!

Oh yeah, and my little boy here rubbed his face on my fingers yesterday for the first time. ️

We watch Some Like It Hot, she sleeps through it.
