Please *be* explicitly political, the deafening silence about these issues with many of your fellow content creators is really irritating.

I (from Germany) share your sentiments, and here in Europe we're probably not far behind the US in the degradation of the political system.

@chrismerkel Fair enough, and that's one of the other biggest issues with Peertube at the moment. But my understanding is, for many YouTube creators anyway, Ad revenue is a pretty small fraction of their income. Obviously I can't say much on that for Alec specifically.

Also the viewership is so low, I doubt it would even make much of a difference at the moment. Obviously that could change in the future but he could always stop uploading to Peertube, or find some other monetization strategy.
