Finding a proper ending to a long story arc is always challenging. You don't want it to be too cheesy, neither to be too brutal to the fans.

So bittersweet, it has to be, and they did it properly (unlike other creators of #Fantasy #TV).

The ending is indeed good.
That doesn't make the season itself any less of a trainwreck.
