@aral What a great talk. After six years is even more current and critical today. Everyone, especially our politicians in Europe @EUCommission - should spend 23 minutes watching this video and take action.
Remove X, Amazon, Facebook, Google, Microsoft (yes, including GitHub), et al. from Europe.

They either offer GitHub integration or manual code upload in a zip. So much for the so-called EU sovereign open science repository.

@meanmicio @aral @EUCommission on the topic of GitHub, I feel the urge to repeat everywhere i can that I have not yet found a way to link my zenodo account to a git repo of arbitrary provider. They either offer GitHub integration or manual code upload in a zip. So much for the so-called EU sovereign open science repository.
