In my obeservation, self-care doesn't mean to occasionally add things we do to our already full days just to feel less stressed and burdened.

In my obeservation, self-care doesn't mean to occasionally add things we do to our already full days just to feel less stressed and burdened. On the contrary, it means permanently eliminating things we do because they are ultimately less important than our well-being and long-term survival.
Don't add stuff to your to do list, remove from it.

Example: Instead of adding a bath and a yoga class, remove the obligation to vacuum twice a week (perhaps change this to once a week or every two weeks).
