I have been utilities-cut-off-eviction-notice-on-the-door poor in my life, though, and there are some places where I never would have considered working.

@aleen 85 years ago my grandmother worked as a Nazi in a concentration camp, she was a secretary filling out death certificates.
This has destroyed my family to this day.
