Wenn man es geschickt macht und Strafzahlungen gegen Sozialleistungen, Schulen, Bildung, aufwiegt und den Leuten sagt, deshalb müssen sie jetzt bis 85 14 Stunden am Tag schaffen, werden die kein Thema mehr sein. Würde ich mir keine Sorgen drum machen.

Der Mann will nur davon ablenken, dass er mit der Rolle als Kanzler völlig überfordert ist. Wahrscheinlich dachte er, wenn er hier und da mal ein paar rechte Sprüche klopft, würde das reichen. Schließlich ist er so auch gewählt worden ohne tatsächlich vorher etwas geleistet zu haben. Die 2-Tage-Woche Lobbytätigkeit bei Blackrock zähle ich mal nicht.

@silmeth So you are attacking a reneweable option that is literally not on the table for extending, nor is it used in Germany on that scale. You ignore the extremely dangerous option of a deliberate reactor catastrophe that is causing the surrounding area to be literally unliveable for humans for thousands of years. And ignore the costs. @elosha @yingfochung I’m not saying it’s safe. I’m doubting the thousands of years uninhabitable claim – it’s at least somewhat habitable right now (though we don’t know how safe exactly. We know mammals can survive and prosper in good condition though).
As for dirtybombing – yes, they could do that. It’s a risk worth considering. That’d require such huge firepower that they’d actually do more damage attacking cities, or other types of power plants (like hydro…) and other infrastructure

@elosha @yingfochung So when considering that risk – you have to take in account how it compares to other risks. And relatively – it’s really not that big. You also need to add the need for stable electric grid, and risks of continuous running of power plants, like deaths from pollution from other dispatchable energy sources (which you need, and which Germany replaced mostly with gas and carbon). And overall that balance is pretty good for nuclear.

Alles Geld, das letztlich Bürger*innen, Arbeitnehmer*innen und Steuerzahler*innen aufbringen müssen.Sag mir einer warum Binnennachfrage und Wirtschaft daniederliegen.

@badumlisa ich fürchte, Weber wird zusammen mit den rechtsextremen Parteien bereits daran arbeiten, dass dieses System gekippt wird und uns dann wieder bei Lanz erzählen, wie bedauerlich, aber notwendig, das für „unsere Wirtschaft“ ist. Die IHK trommelt ja auch schon, Kretschmer labert auch rum usw.
