Jupiter rising over Brooklyn.

Jupiter rising over Brooklyn. Full brightness first, to show off the Galilean moons, then with exposure dimmed to reveal the cloud bands, before returning to full brightness at the end. Forgive the wobble — it’s a combination of atmospheric conditions and me fumbling to adjust the exposure settings, all intensified by the telescope magnification. It’s not perfect but I’m still thrilled to capture this view from 393 million miles away.
