@numb_comfortably comme il faut être proactif on peut vite y passer du temps c'est vrai. De l'autre comme il y a une absence d'algorithme il faut y avoir des répétition dans le flux donc ça peut compenser, notamment sur ce qui est actualité + que le partage d'expérience qui peux être personnel.

@JBrickelt963 It's funny, when Musk bought Twitter I left it and joined Mastodon. I learned a lot from it (including now ingrained habit to always add alt text). When Bluesky started a closed invite-only beta, I joined it - and it has been so much fun for a while, I virtually forgot about Mastodon. But now, that Bluesky is shooting itself in the dick, I came back and Mastodon is here for me.

@numb_comfortably it's true the first years I didn't have this reflex for ALT either since there were fewer people.
Bluesky what struck me from the start was the desire to build a protocol of 0 instead of improving that of ActivityPub to resolve the weaknesses that we know of.
Or at least make compatibility easy.
Adding to that that it's a company with crypto investors, I knew it was bound to get out of hand. I didn't think so quickly though.

@orci @JBrickelt963 it's been accumulating for a while now, but the last straw was them accepting - and verifying! official ICE account.

@numb_comfortably yea, I had been just using the 20 minute timere to "you must be away from computer for 20 minutes" but I might start doing it for "that's enough time on the mastodon..."

@numb_comfortably @orci I also saw some people coming here some time ago because one of the Bluesky managers was asking to stop writing. Like he's having trouble supporting the load or people are making too many bad noises.
