I joined #mastodon last week, on a whim, with no idea what to expect
Minutes later, I was welcomed by @dillyd which has never happened on any other platform and was a wonderful introduction. So I posted a couple pictures of my #cats, and found, to my surprise, people reacting and interacting
Maybe it's because I'm not fighting an algorithm, or maybe I just found a place where folks truly appreciate cats. Either way, I'm very happy to be here, and I hope you're prepared for more cat pictures
@rufustheduck We *really* appreciate cats here. Well, I know I do, anyway. Welcome. Beautiful kitty, btw. We have a black and white kitty with a pink nose, too and I have a big soft spot for such kitties. @dillyd

Oh and if you cycle, knit, take photos in pretty places, have other pets that's all welcome too.@Cycling_Liz I cycle, take photos of pretty places on my way to work in London, and while I don't have other pets, I do have a garden full of foxes. I haven't started knitting yet, but there's still time
