#Worldcup2026 anyone?

@pallenberg Kanada wäre doch eine schöne Alternative

I agree, don't go to the US, but for those that must, consider entering through a smaller, regional 'port'. For example, Aer Lingus (from Ireland) has flights into Hartford CT. All US immigration and customs is done in Dublin (preclearance), not on the ground in the US. If you were to encounter any issues, likely better for it to happen there, in the EU, than in the US (you would be denied the right to board rather than detained, and 'returned' to Ireland).

@pallenberg Die Frage ist ja nicht, ob man dort hin reisen sollte. Sondern, wie man dort empfangen, abgewiesen oder in ein Lager gesteckt wird.

@pallenberg everybody who has the chance to, should boycott #fifaworldcup for so many reasons.

@pallenberg @Remittancegirl Used to live there. Haven’t been back for ten years, and not currently planning to.

@pallenberg Absolutely no interest in #Worldcup or soccer in general, but would like to visit the beautiful landscapes (or what's left of it after Trumps overexploitation) and the >50% people who are not MAGA.
As for now, my german passport wouldn’t allow me in nor could I get a visa. And I’d be in danger in several states.
Being trans and nonbinary makes the world one can travel definitely smaller.
